How Do I Unstall Microsoft Xml Core Services 4.0

Unsupported app: Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) or XML Cadre Services

One PC on the network (Windows x 1607) is showing as 'Microsoft XML Parser (MSXML) and XML Core Services Unsupported', when we run vulnerability scanning

The dll is located here - C:\Windows\SysWOW64\msxml.dll

Does anyone know if I tin can just remove / delete this? Or is there a way I tin find out which software if whatsoever is using this?

It seems like the dll was last accessed two+ months agone

According to Wikipedia, MSXML is now legacy. The current XML parser looks like msxml3.dll, not msxml.dll. Although you may want to take a snapshot before y'all remove it, just in case an older program that you apply still needs it. Hope this helps!
